Yantai Texrise Material Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Yantai Taparan Advanced Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd.) is a controlling subsidiary of Tayho Materials Group Co., Ltd., located at No.1 Taiyuan Road, Huangbohai New Area, Yantai City. The company was established in April 2013 with a registered capital of 41.058 million. It is mainly engaged in the deep processing of aramid fibers ,meanwhile company focus on the research and production of composite materials. The main products include high-performance fiber deep processing products such as woven fabrics, pulp, twisted yarn, curled short fibers, rope cord,s, filament thread sewing threads, short cut fibers, and weft free fabrics.

Texrise Development Background

     

Para aramid fiber is a type of aromatic polyamide fiber, also known as polyphenylenediamine fiber, abbreviated as PPTA. It is also known as aramid II or aramid 1414 in China.


 

The main raw materials for para aramid are terephthaloyl chloride (TPC) and para phenylenediamine (PPD).

  

Para aramid, along with carbon fiber and high-strength high modulus polyethylene, is know of high-performance fibers and has irreplaceable important applications in fields such as personal protection, aerospace, automotive, and electronic information.


Due to the fact that para aramid is a key basic material related to national economic development, it has attracted much attention. However, due to the high technical difficulty, so far only a few countries in the world, such as the United States, Japan, Russia, South Korea, and China, have the ability to produce it, with a total production capacity of about 70000 tons per year.


During the 11th Five Year Plan period, China has made substantial breakthroughs in the engineering technology of para aramid fibers. Yantai Taihe New Materials Co., Ltd. completed the first 100 ton continuous operation production line in China in 2008, and the main performance indicators of its products have reached the advanced level of similar foreign products. In May 2011, the Taihe New Materials 1000 tons/year para aramid industrialization project was successfully put into operation, and Taiplong ® Para aramid has been successfully launched into the market and has been rapidly promoted and applied in fields such as automotive hoses, fiber optic cables, friction seals, and personal protection. At this point, Taihe New Materials has become the only professional aramid product supplier in China with a complete range of aramid products such as meta aramid and para aramid, and strong market guarantee capabilities.


Texrise Development Process

  

The company achieved continuous and stable operation of the 100 ton level para aramid production line in 2008, and the 1000 ton level para aramid industrialization project was successfully put into operation in 2011. In order to expand the industry chain in the aramid field, accelerate market development efforts, and enhance product added value, in 2013, Tayho Adavanced Materials Co., Ltd and six natural persons jointly invested with their own funds to establish a controlling subsidiary, Yantai Texrise Material Technology Co., Ltd. The company is mainly engaged in the deep processing business of aramid series products, including aramid pulp, aramid woven fabrics, aramid twisted yarn, aramid short fibers, etc. The company will fully utilize advanced technology in the field of aramid, actively explore downstream applications, promote the development of aramid in the fields of safety and protection, and continuously improve the aramid industry cluster, so that this high-tech achievement of aramid can serve society and benefit people as soon as possible.
