Technical Characteristics

Density: Taihe Xing pulp has a density of 1.41 g/cm3~1.42 g/cm3, slightly smaller than PPTA filament;

Specific surface area: The surface of Taihe Xing pulp is fluffy, with dense microfibers and abundant hairiness. The fibers split into needle like shapes along the axial direction, resulting in a high degree of fibrillation. Therefore, the specific surface area is large, ranging from 5m2/g to 15m2/g, greatly improving the adhesion of the pulp;

Average length: The fiber length and diameter of Taihe Xing pulp exhibit a certain distribution, with an average length of 0.5mm~2mm;

Complexity: The surface amino content of Taihe Xing pulp is more than 10 times that of filament, and it has good affinity with amide based composite resins. At the same time, it can form hydrogen bonds with the matrix at the interface of the pulp, enhancing the composite effect;
